Education and Experience

I have worked extensively in the community sector with a nationally recognised provider of counselling, training and suicide prevention services.  This has offered experiences as a counsellor, trainer, supervisor, and in the development of counselling policy and procedure.  I have a strong interest in counsellor development and currently work with an organisation that trains counsellors in both higher education and vocational education sectors.

I am influenced by a range of therapuetic approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, strengths based and narrative therapies.  I tailor my approach based upon your needs and circumstances.
